Jonathan Huberdeau: Won't play Thursday

Huberdeau will be held out of Thursday's game against the Coyotes due to an upper-body injury, Jameson Olive of Fox Sports Florida reports.

Analysis:

After leaving Saturday's game following just 1:28 of ice time, it appears the upper-body issue will cost him time beyond that. Already ailing with Alexsander Barkov (upper body) and Brandon Pirri (ankle) dealing with injuries, the Panthers have now temporarily lost another big piece. However, Barkov is expected to rejoin the lineup Thursday, while Huberdeau's next chance to return now comes Saturday against the Blue Jackets.
