Marian Hossa: Placed on IR

Hossa (leg) has been placed on injured reserve, CSN Chicago reports.

Analysis:

Hossa required assistance to leave the ice Saturday due to a leg injury, and his placement on injured reserve rules him out until at least next Sunday against the Wild. The loss will force the Blackhawks to shuffle the top six somewhat, but that should sort itself out when the team takes the ice for morning skate Monday. Another update on Hossa is expected to come then as well, so expect a refreshed status when the team provides one.
