Milan Lucic won't be forgetting this night any time soon.

In his first game in Boston since being traded to Los Angeles during the offseason, Lucic finished a run of seven unanswered goals for the Kings as the Pacific Division leaders cruised to a 9-2 victory over the Bruins.

Lucic received a standing ovation from the TD Garden crowd during the first period as the Bruins played a tribute video to the winger, who recorded 342 points over eight seasons with the club.

The 28-year-old was among nine different Kings to score, and he picked up an assist on a Drew Doughty goal. Jeff Carter, Marian Gaborik, Andy Andreoff, Dwight King, Trevor Lewis, Luke Schenn, and Dustin Brown also found the back of the net, as the Kings had 57 shots on goal.

Goaltender Jonathan Quick entered the night with four losses in his last five starts, but recovered with an impressive 35-save performance.

Brad Marchand scored his 10th goal in 10 games to open the scoring in the first. Tyler Randell scored the other Bruins goal.
