For Jonathan Toews, the more chaotic it is, the more effective he becomes.

The Chicago Blackhawks captain tied Steven Stamkos' single-season NHL record with his fifth overtime winner Thursday versus the Arizona Coyotes.

Toews' record-tying winner ended a wild three-on-three sequence, where he shook his check with a spin move at the line before waltzing in and snapping a low shot past Louis Domingue.

Toews has laid claim to more than half his team's nine overtime wins in 12 opportunities at three skaters aside, and his five winners are two more than any other player.
