Marcus Johansson: Doubtful for weekend games

Johansson (upper body) will likely miss both games of the weekend's set Saturday and Sunday, the Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Coach Barry Trotz indicated that he's "hopeful" Johansson will be able to travel with the team on the upcoming road trip, suggesting that he's not a lock to do that either. As a result, he can be ruled out for Thursday's game at a minimum, but it sounds as though the weekend's contests are highly improbable as well. The Capitals should update his status at some point in the coming days, which will likely provide a bit more clarity on his status moving forward.
