The Boston Bruins have activated David Krejci off injured reserve in advance of Thursday's tilt with the Vancouver Canucks.

The center has been out of action since Dec. 27 after suffering an upper-body injury in Ottawa. He missed Boston's last 10 contests, and the Bruins have posted a 5-4-1 record in his absence.

In 35 games this season, Krejci recorded 11 goals and 33 points, and was named the NHL's third star of the month for October.

In a concurrent move, Frank Vatrano has been assigned to the AHL's Providence Bruins.
