Aaron Ekblad (concussion) inactive Monday against the Canucks and is in concussion protocol

Ekblad is out of Monday's lineup against the Canucks, and is in the league's concussion protocol, John Shannon of Sportsnet reports.

Analysis:

Ekblad took a hit in Sunday's game that will end up costing him at least Monday's contest as well. Steve Kampfer has been activated from injured reserve and will draw into the lineup in his place, making the defenseman's next chance to return Wednesday against the Flames.
