The Montreal Canadiens are back in the win column.
After giving up a 2-1 lead heading into the third period, the Canadiens rebounded to take the game to extra time, and captain Max Pacioretty leaves Tampa Bay as the hero after he undressed Ben Bishop to score the shootout winner.
The win ends a six-game losing streak. It's just the third victory in the month of December for the Canadiens after they won 18 times through Nov. 30.
