Dainius Zubrus has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Sharks.

Analysis:

Zubrus was released from his professional tryout contract with the Blues in early November, but the 37-year-old didn't give up and now gets a shot with Team Teal. He has familiarity with Sharks bench boss Peter DeBoer, as DeBoer served as his coach from 2011-14, when he was a member of the Devils. In all likelihood, Zubrus will be planted in a bottom-six role with the Sharks, providing much needed depth on the wings.
