Canucks recall Andrey Pedan

Vancouer Canucks defenseman Andrey Pedan was recalled from AHL Utica on Monday, the club announced. Defenseman Taylor Fedun was reassigned.

Analysis:

Pedan had gotten off to a successful start to the season with the AHL club, recording seven points (six assists) and a team-leading 28 penalty minutes through 15 contests. With the corresponding reassignment of Taylor Fedun, Pedan figures to serve as an extra defenseman.
