Anaheim Ducks forward Jakob Silfverberg skated on his own before practice Tuesday, and head coach Bruce Boudreau said the winger has been cleared to join his teammates.
Raffi Torres of the San Jose Sharks was suspended 41 games Monday for his head shot on Silfverberg during Anaheim's 5-1 preseason win Saturday night.
Silfverberg was held out of practice until Tuesday's appearance.
The Ducks open the regular season in San Jose against the Sharks this coming Saturday.
