The Hamburglar will be back in Canada's capital next season.

The Ottawa Senators announced Wednesday that they agreed to a three-year, $4.05-million contract extension with goaltender Andrew Hammond.

Hammond was set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, and by the looks of things he seems happy to be back.

The 27-year-old backstopped the Senators back to the playoffs after the team failed to qualify last season.

He posted a 20-1-2 record with a .941 save percentage and 1.79 goals-against average in 24 games.
