A couple of ex-New York Rangers helped give their new team life Tuesday night.
Former Rangers stars Ryan Callahan and Anton Stralman combined to get their team on the board in a must-win Game 6.
With the Tampa Bay Lightning down 2-0, defenseman Stralman fed Callahan with a slick two-line pass, sending Callahan on a breakaway where he went forehand-backhand before roofing a shot over the blocker of Henrik Lundqvist.
The goal brought the Lightning within one, and for Callahan, the goal comes a game late after coach Jon Cooper promised he would score in Game 5.
