Voracek says 'everybody' wants Berube back as Flyers head coach

The Philadelphia Flyers season is over, but that doesn't mean business is closed.

The team needs to make a decision on a number of off-season moves, and the future of head coach Craig Berube is one of them.

Jakub Voracek says that the entire team - himself included  - wants the coach to return, reports Ian Wenik of CSN Philly.

"Of course I want him back," Voracek said on The Comcast Network's Breakfast on Broad. "I think everybody wants him back, because he's a player's coach."

General manager Ron Hextall has not made a decision on Berube as of yet.

"He's our head coach and if something changes I'll let you guys know," Hextall said Wednesday during a press conference. "At this point in the process ... we're going to evaluate everything, as I said, and at this point the decision hasn't been made."

The Flyers failed to make the postseason under Berube, posting a 33-31-18 record.
