Analysis:

Kinkaid saw infrequent action behind Cory Schneider this season, but generally played well when his number was called. Over 19 appearances, Kinkaid posted a 6-5-4 record, 2.59 GAA, and .915 save percentage. Schneider is locked in as the Devils' No. 1 goalie long-term and will shoulder a heavy workload again in 2015-16, leaving Kinkaid to pick up the scraps. The 25-year-old could at least make for a reliable streaming option when he receives starts against the weaker teams in the league.
