Stars GM Jim Nill suggested Goligoski, who missed last Saturday's season finale with an undisclosed injury, should be good to go heading into the offseason. "Goligoski, as far as we know, is OK," Nill said. "He was hurt very early in the season; he had some broken bones. First two months never practiced because he couldn't, but he played all the games."

Analysis:

It sounds as though Goligoski's absence for the season finale was more maintenance-related than anything, as Goligoski had a tough season on the health front, though nothing serious enough to cost him game action. With a full offseason to heal up, Goligoski should head into the 2015-16 feeling fresh and looking to rebound after his numbers dropped across the board this season.
