Evgeny Kuznetsov could be a difference maker for the Washington Capitals.
The Russian forward put his scintillating offensive skills on display late in the second period during Wednesday's game against the Boston Bruins, rushing into the offensive zone and hypnotizing defenseman Torey Krug before dropping a ridiculous pass to teammate Marcus Johansson.

The assist was Kuznetsov's 26th, and came on Johansson's 20th goal, both of which are career highs for important secondary options in the Capitals offensive attack.
He also seems to be peaking at just the right time:
