Edmonton Oilers forward Andrew Miller scored his first NHL goal in style Friday, recording the milestone marker after being awarded a penalty shot in just his fifth career game.

Miller has not shied away from being in the spotlight the last few games, recording his first assist on Martin Marincin's first career goal Wednesday, and the Oilers had fun with the two by splitting the puck.

Suddenly, the Oilers are playing their best hockey of late and have closed the gap in the race for second last in the standings to just three points behind the Arizona Coyotes.
