Predators recall Fiala on emergency basis

Bill Streicher / USA TODAY Sports

The Nashville Predators seem back on track after going through some struggles offensively.

The Predators, who have won their last three games and sit atop the Western Conference standings with 100 points, have recalled forward Kevin Fiala from Milwaukee of the AHL under emergency conditions.

The 18-year-old played in the Predators win over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday and didn't record a point in over 11 minutes of ice time.

The 11th overall selection of the 2014 NHL entry draft played well for Switzerland at the World Junior Championship and has recorded 17 points in 26 games for Milwaukee.
