Bruins' Dougie Hamilton out indefinitely with undisclosed injury

Boston Bruins top-pairing defenseman Dougie Hamilton is out indefinitely with an undisclosed injury, head coach Claude Julien told reporters. 

Though the nature of the injury is being held close to the vest, CSNNE's Joe Haggerty reports the third-year man suffered a significant shoulder injury is Saturday's loss to the Florida Panthers. 

Hamilton has been the most consistent defenseman in Boston this season, leading the blue line with 42 points and a plus-224 SAT. 

Boston is one point out of a postseason spot with nine games left on the schedule.
