Coyotes' prized prospect Duclair scratched by Quebec junior club

The Arizona Coyotes' key return in their trade deadline liquidation sale has been made a healthy scratch Tuesday by his junior club, the Quebec Remparts.

Anthony Duclair has drawn the ire of Remparts coach Philippe Boucher for a lack of effort, according to the Montreal Journal

The former third-round pick of the New York Rangers made the Blueshirts out of camp and featured in 18 games before being sent back down to his parent club, which will host the Memorial Cup in May.

Duclair starred alongside fellow Coyotes prospect Max Domi at the World Junior Hockey Championship over the holiday season - potent chemistry that unquestionably played a role in his acquisition as part of the Keith Yandle deal.
