Schroeder will be a healthy scratch for Tuesday's game against the Senators, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Schroeder has fared well on the Wild's third line since his call-up from AHL Iowa, but the team's recent additions of Sean Bergenheim and Chris Stewart to the lineup will force coach Mike Yeo to drop a player from the lineup. Since Schroeder isn't a fixture on either of the Wild's special-teams units, Yeo decided that he was the most expendable forward.
