He had been running hot in late January and the early part of February, but the talented Russian has hit a cold stretch. He's still getting quality minutes on the second line and getting some time on the second power play unit, and has the requisite talent to put up solid numbers at the NHL level. Our advice is to wait it out as long as he's getting prominent ice time, but if the Caps move him back to the bottom-six role or scratch him, it may be time to move on from him in single-season leagues.
