Quick has followed up one the coldest spells of his career with an impressive hot streak that has catapulted the Kings up the Western Conference standings. He enters play Thursday a winner of eight consecutive games, with just five total goals surrendered over his last five turns. Quick'll be one of the best plays on the board Thursday against an Ottawa squad playing its second game in as many nights in California. And if he continues to perform at this high a level, it's hard to imagine coach Darryl Sutter turning away from him for Friday's game against the Ducks.
