Varlamov was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate and is thus in line to start Tuesday against the Predators, NHL.com's Robby Stanley reports.

Analysis:

Varlamov wasn't sharp his last time out against the Lightning on Sunday, conceding four goals on 28 shots, but he managed to come away with his fourth victory in five games. His performance has been rather uneven of late, and with Varlamov facing the league's top team Tuesday, those in shallower formats may want to consider keeping a different goalie active for the daily slate.
