Kurz appears to be several weeks away from taking to the ice, meaning he'll more than likely be facing the far end of his six-to-eight-week recovery timetable, or perhaps even longer. As a fixture in the Sharks' bottom six, Brown hasn't seen many offensive scoring opportunities on the few occasions he's been healthy enough to play this season.
