Ellis played in each of the last four games since joining the team Jan. 13, but recorded a minus-one rating in each of the games and didn't get himself into the box score other than putting three shots on net. With the All-Star break approaching, the Sabres will have some time to evaluate their next move with news that Cody McCormick's season may be in jeopardy. Ellis is a depth player and has little to no fantasy value.
