After registering as one of the fantasy hockey's bigger disappointments for the first two and a half months, Kopitar has now produced eight points over his last two contests, with five coming on the power play. That massive uptick in production has vaulted up his season total to a still-substandard 22 points in 31 games, but it at least gives him a fighter's chance of reaching the 70-point plateau again if he can manage a point-per-game pace the rest of the way.
