John Gibson: (Groin) Gets Activated, Sent to AHL

Gibson (groin) was activated from injured reserve Wednesday and reassigned to AHL Norfolk.

Analysis:

Gibson has steadily made his way back from a groin injury that has caused him to miss more than a month, and is finally ready to return. With the signing of Ilya Bryzgolov, he is expected to play most of the season at AHL Norfolk, where Gibson will receive regular playing time.
