Stephen Weiss' injured shoulder lands him on injured reserve

Stop us if you've heard this one before: Stephen Weiss is on injured reserve.

A separated shoulder has pulled him out of the Detroit Red Wings' lineup once again, and the veteran forward will remain out of the lineup until Saturday, at the earliest, according to Ansar Khan of MLive.

Weiss was in the midst of a resurgence prior to suffering the injury, with four goals and six assists in 11 games, almost tripling his production from 26 games with the club last season.
