Analysis:

While the groin issues that have dogged Laich in previous seasons now seem to be a thing of the past, the forward has been limited to just six games in 2014-15 thanks to the shoulder ailment. He does appear to be closing in on a return from the setback, however, so with another day or two of practice, he could be a lineup option for the Capitals over the weekend.
