Mason will return to the crease Saturday against the Panthers, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

If Mason hasn't already surrendered the title as the Flyers' No. 1 goalie to Ray Emery, he's standing on extremely shaky ground atop the team's depth chart. After Mason went 0-3-1 with a 3.83 GAA and .878 save percentage in his first five outings, Emery has made each of the last four starts, going 3-1 during that time. Mason will need to avoid another dud against the Panthers if he hopes to see regular action over Emery in subsequent games.
