Jhonas Enroth cites Bruins overtime goal as reason why Sabres are 'a bad team'

Kevin Hoffman / USA TODAY Sports

The Boston Bruins avoided a loss to the lowly Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday, and, according to goaltender Jhonas Enroth, exposed why Buffalo is so bad in the process.

The Sabres actually led the game 2-1 after forty minutes, with the game-tying goal coming on an unfortunate deflection off Brad Marchand. In overtime, however, the Bruins made it look all too easy, as Marchand was left wide open in front of the net for a point blank shot at the game-winning goal.

Enroth's response?

The Sabres were outshot 37-15 in the loss, and their record dropped to 2-8-1 on the season. Buffalo's goal differential sits at minus-23, and it has allowed a league-high 404 shots.

So unfortunately for Enroth, things aren't likely to improve in front of him anytime soon.
