VIDEO: Josefson snaps Devils' 18-shootout losing streak with nifty deke

Jacob Josefson played the hero for the New Jersey Devils on Thursday, snapping their streak of 18 straight shootout losses.

Devils netminder Cory Schneider did his part by turning aside all three Winnipeg Jets shooters, but Josefson's nifty forehand deke on Ondrej Pavelec in the second round made the difference, ending over 19 months of shootout futility.

Pavelec attempted a poke check on the deke. It did not go well:

The Devils are 5-for-50 on shootout attempts since the beginning of last season.
