New York Rangers forward Chris Kreider might want to keep his phone on.

Near the end of the first period of Monday's game against the Minnesota Wild, Kreider was assessed a five-minute major for boarding and a game misconduct after this dangerous-looking hit on Wild defenseman Jonas Brodin.

Brodin was helped off the ice with 15.8 seconds remaining in the period and was not on the bench to start the second. He was, however, able to return in ther second period.

The NHL's Department of Player Safety may be asking Kreider to pay a visit to the office after this one.
