Zdeno Chara: Exits Thursday With Injury

Chara left Thursday's game against the Islanders in the first period, after he laid a hard hit on John Tavares, Joe Haggerty of CSNNE.com reports.

Analysis:

It's usually the opponent that comes away sore following a check from the big-bodied Chara, but the defenseman seemed to be worse off after this particular collision.
