Islander place McDonald on waivers, Lee expected to be recalled

The New York Islanders have placed winger Colin McDonald on waivers, the club announced Wednesday.
Anders Lee is expected to be called up to fill the vacated roster for Thursday's game against the Boston Bruins, according to Arthur Staple of Newsday.
Lee had 3-2-5 in 5 games with Bridgeport. Wouldn't be surprised to see him start off on line w/Nelson and Strome tomorrow vs. Bruins.

In two games with the Islanders this season, McDonald failed to record a point with three shots on goal.
