Rangers' Girardi misses practice, remains day-to-day after suffering cut from blocked shot

New York Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault announced Monday that Dan Girardi missed practice after the defenseman's stitched-up cut was discovered to be bleeding.

Girardi suffered the injury after blocking a shot during Sunday's win over the San Jose Sharks.

The Rangers' next game is set for Tuesday in New Jersey.
