Analysis:

Havlat was cleared of any structural damage to his face after suffering cuts to his nose Thursday night, but he was still in enough pain for the Devils to hold him out of practice. He required a number of stitches to address the cuts, and it's not certain if he'll be ready to go for Saturday's game against the Sharks. Check back on his status after Saturday's morning skate.
