Rinne is expected to start Monday's preseason scrimmage against Columbus and play the entire game, Eric Stromgren of The Tennessean reports.

Analysis:

Last season, Rinne put up very mediocre numbers after undergoing hip surgery in late October, but so far he is erasing any concerns that he might not be back to 100%. So far this preseason, he has allowed just one goal on 35 shots over two games, so he's starting to look like his old dominant self again. Furthermore, given the offensive upgrades the Preds made during the offseason, Rinne is now surrounded by a stronger supporting cast, which gives his fantasy value a significant boost. Move him up a few spots on your cheat sheets and don't be afraid to grab him in the early to middle rounds of your fantasy drafts.
