The Dallas Stars agreed to terms with one of their two remaining restricted free agents on Monday, signing Cody Eakin to a two-year deal, according to TSN's Bob McKenzie.
Eakin is coming off his first full NHL season, in which he recorded 16 goals and 35 points as a 22-year-old. He is expected to center Dallas' third line, with Tyler Seguin and Jason Spezza above him on the depth chart.
Restricted free agent defenseman Brenden Dillon remains in negotiations for a new contract.
