Coach Mike Johnston said that Maatta will skate "full out" in Detroit on Tuesday. Maatta has yet to play in a preseason game because of spring shoulder surgery. With nine goals and 29 points in 79 games last season, the 19-year-old burst onto the season. Because of his injury and the usual second-year regression, it wouldn't be surprising to see him take a step back in fantasy.
