Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Henrik Tallinder left Friday's game against the Buffalo Sabres due to a shoulder injury, and head coach Randy Carlyle provided an update after the game.
The Maple Leafs invited the 35-year-old to training camp on a tryout, but the injury puts his bid to make the team in jeopardy.
Tallinder scored two goals and added six assists in 64 games for the Sabres last season.
