Analysis:

Blues coach Ken Hitchcock was pleased with how Fabbri performed in his first game, which will allow the 2014 first-round draft pick to stick around in training camp a little bit longer. Fabbri isn't expected to play in Thursday's contest against the Blue Jackets, but should get the chance to participate in another preseason contest or two before he's shipped back to his junior team, the OHL's Guelph Storm.
