Jeremy Roenick doesn't think Flyers can win Stanley Cup with Steve Mason

The winds of change never stop blowing around the Philadelphia Flyers, and nor does the criticism. 

Jeremy Roenick was the latest to offer his opinion on what's being constructed in orange and black, and his condemnation began between the pipes. 

"I like Steve Mason, but I don’t think [he] is the answer to winning a Stanley Cup," the former Flyer said via Brian McCardle of Philly.com. "I think you need an upper echelon defenseman, I think you need an upper echelon goaltender.

"Both, the Flyers do not have."

In his first season with the Flyers, Mason was hardly their downfall. The 26-year-old skated in 61 contests and compiled a 33-18-7 record to go along with a 2.50 GAA and .917 Sv%. 

Now about that upper echelon defenseman...
