Mike Ribeiro in talks with 2 teams, should make decision soon
Unrestricted free agent Mike Ribeiro appears close to signing with a new team after his contract was bought out by the Phoenix Coyotes back in June.
Mike Ribeiro should make a decision this week about his future. He visit a Western team and will talk to a Eastern team this week.

With many of the top free agents already scooped up, the 34-year-old represents one of the more tantalizing options on the market, his recent buyout notwithstanding. In 80 games in the desert this past season, Ribeiro scored 16 goals and added 47 assists with a 52.9 Corsi For rating at even strength, as per Extra Skater.
If he has worked towards clearing up the issues that caused the Coyotes to call his signing a "mistake," Ribeiro could prove to be an effective player for his new team.
