Predators' Fisher out 4-6 months with ruptured Achilles
The Nashville Predators will begin the 2014-15 season without the services of center Mike Fisher.
General manager David Poile announced Monday the 34-year-old suffered an Achilles injury during summer training and will be out four to six months.

Predators forward and alternate captain Mike Fisher sustained a ruptured Achilles tendon during a training session and underwent successful surgery on Thursday, July 3. We expect Mike to make a full recovery in four-to-six months, and look forward to his return to the ice.
In 75 games this past season, Fisher recorded 20 goals, 29 assists, 177 shots on goal and 60 penalty minutes for the Predators. His absence leave a hole at the center position, which may now be addressed via free agency.
