Ducks' Gibson pulled from Game 7 after giving up 4 goals vs. Kings

The Anaheim Ducks were born, in part, out of a Hollywood script, but goaltender John Gibson had anything but a storybook ending to his first foray into the world of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
After giving up three goals on 16 shots in the first period, Gibson allowed a fourth on the Kings' second shot in the second, forcing head coach Bruce Boudreau to pull the 20-year-old and toss Jonas Hiller into the fire to play out the series-deciding game.
Prior to Game 7, Gibson posted a .946 save percentage in three games against the Kings, and while he certainly has a bright future ahead of him, perhaps it was a matter of too much responsibility, too soon for the youngster.
