Penguins' Orpik replaces Bortuzzo in the lineup for Game 4

by May 7, 7:03 PM

Veteran Pittsburgh Penguins stay-at-home defenseman Brooks Orpik has taken to the ice for the warmup skate ahead of Wednesday night's Game 4 between the Penguins and the New York Rangers.

Orpik is nursing an undisclosed injury and hasn't dressed for the Penguins since Game 4 of Pittsburgh's opening round series against the Columbus Blue Jackets. He will return for Game 4.

There is some question as to whether or not a change is warranted on the Penguins' blue-line, regardless of how healthy Orpik is. Without the U.S. Olympian in the lineup, Pittsburgh's defenders haven't permitted a single goal against and haven't allowed much in the way of quality scoring chances against either, since overtime of Game 1.
