Steve Mason: Confirmed To Start Game 4

Coach Craig Berube confirmed Mason would start Friday's Game 4 against the Rangers, Sarah Baicker of CSN Philadelphia reports.

Analysis:

After Mason was able to back up Ray Emery and ultimately enter the game in the third period Tuesday without any further complications with his upper-body injury, he'll man the net as the Flyers aim to even the series. Assuming Mason doesn't completely flounder in his return to starting duty, expect him to serve as the Flyers' primary goaltender through the remainder of their playoff run.
